Adults

Our shelter only accepts adults or adults with children.

Our shelter is completely run by volunteers, we have no paid staff and no medically trained staff. So all adults need to be able to do a few basic things for themselves.

The following is not meant to be a comprehensive list, but a general guideline:

​

• Must be capable of feeding themselves, dressing themselves and taking care of basic hygiene for themselves.

 

• Adult Program participants who have children must be capable of caring for their own children, as we do not provide child care.

 

• All adult program participants who have animals must be able to care for their animals appropriately on their own, since we do not provide animal care services.
